Reviews

I have been working out with Dalton since September 2016. During that time I have many changes in health and physical ability including 2.5 years of dialysis, a kidney transplant, and vertigo. Dalton's wide experience in his field has helped to eliminate Plantar fasciitis in my feet and greatly reduced my vertigo and therefore increased my overall health and life satisfaction. I'm in my mid 50's and our training focus is movement, strength, endurance and general fitness. I am very satisfied with Dalton's training methods and would recommend him to anyone who needs professional one on one coaching and training.

I've worked out with Dalton for the past four years. He's an amazing trainer! I came to him in very sad shape having numerous weaknesses, impingements, aches and pains. His superpower is his ability to assess the body and determine which muscles, tendons or facia require attention.  Dalton accurately targets the vulnerabilities and turns them into strengths.  He's the muscle whisperer!  Dalton's expertise, encouragement and support have made me stronger in body and spirit.  I'm proud to partner with him in my fitness journey.

I have been working with Dalton for nearly 2 years. When we started, I had a number of impingements, or opportunities as Dalton likes to call them. Even this mind shift of seeing my
injuries and weaker areas as areas of opportunity has been a helpful shift, and over time my strength and stability have improved in areas where I formerly felt only pain and discomfort.
I started with Dalton with a goal in mind. I joined my local Roller Derby Sports League. In my mid forties, working a desk job, and never having played team sports, I knew I would need some help if I seriously wanted to make this sport a part of my life. I approached Dalton, with my stated goal and he was enthusiastic about assisting me. I wasn’t really a gym goer. I had no
experience with any kind of training program or any idea how to use the equipment in the gym.
Fitness for me was just riding my bike, walking the dog, and the occasional group class, but even those I hadn’t been to for about a decade. What’s been great about personal training is just that. It’s personal, and tailored to my needs and my body at the moment. Dalton understands the
progressions I need to get to where I want to be. Even in the moment, he will
modify an exercise to ensure I can perform it safely and correctly and master it before moving
on. But, it’s never boring. I’m never doing the same exercises over and over. Our workouts are
dynamic and challenging. They are so challenging in fact, that if you see me, I may seem unenthused about the work. Dalton never gives up on me, no matter how much I whine and complain, if he says I can do it, I can and I will. In the last couple of weeks, I have met with some of my league mates to workout at the gym together. I even went to an unfamiliar gym!
This is a huge milestone for me, as I feel confident enough heading to the squat rack with a friend and doing RDLs and Chest presses. Or pick up a dumbbell and row. I know how to set up the equipment and I feel confident doing the exercises correctly. There is always room for growth, and I know Dalton is preparing all the time for how to get me to the next level but always with my safety and overall health in mind. On that note, as injuries do occur in sport, I can recover quicker and I have with Dalton’s support. He’s always ready to make those, modifications when “opportunities” arise.
